Lovers Only: A Valentine’s Collection

Valentine’s Day has always lived somewhere between fantasy and feeling — and for our Lovers Only campaign, we wanted to step fully into that dream. Inspired by retro roadside motels, heart-shaped tubs, champagne towers, and Old Hollywood glamour, this shoot is an ode to playful romance, indulgence, and dressing up just for the thrill of it.

Set inside a vintage motel room straight out of a postcard, the scene felt cinematic and surreal: pink lighting bouncing off walls, bubbles spilling over porcelain champagne tubs, rose petals scattered across rumpled sheets. It was Valentine’s through a nostalgic lens — flirty, decadent, and unapologetically fun.

At the center of it all was Rachel Lynch (aka @ihateblonde), our muse for the campaign. Rachel embodies the spirit of Lovers Only effortlessly — romantic, glamorous, and deeply expressive. Behind the lens was Katie Harless (aka @ktheartless), whose dreamy, film-forward photography brought the entire vision to life with warmth, intimacy, and a distinctly playful female gaze.

Below, Rachel and Katie share their thoughts on romance, creativity, and the magic that unfolded during the blush Valentine’s Day motel escape.

How do you define romance in your own life, and how does that translate into your personal style and way of life?

Romance in my own life is lighting candles in my apartment, wearing vintage robes and lacy lingerie as the city twinkles outside. It’s sitting at my regal baby blue desk and handwriting poetry. It’s a glass of champagne and a good song. It’s cozy under the white sheets in the winter.

My personal style is very romantic—I wear a lot of corsets and beautiful furs. I romanticize my entire existence.

What drew you to the “Lovers Only” campaign, and what excites you most about celebrating Valentine’s Day with Blush this year?

I love the playfulness of the campaign, the colors and the glamour of it all. I’m excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Blush this year because it’s one of my favorite holidays and the “Lovers Only” collection gives all the girls a chance to live their Old Hollywood glamour girl dream. The entire collection is thoughtful and I love all the colors and styles.

Stepping into the motel-inspired shoot — with heart-shaped tubs, champagne bathtubs, and vintage glamour — how did it make you feel?

It made me feel like Dita Von Tease, like I was in my prime and on top of the world. I felt like I stepped into the role of an Old Hollywood Darling.

Was there a particular moment, pose, or piece from the shoot that felt especially magical or intimate to you?

Honestly, I really loved modeling the champagne satin look with the pasties. I’ve never really modeled with pasties before, and didn’t believe they would look good on a girl like me, but wearing that look made me feel like a pinup goddess!

Blush celebrates femininity, confidence, and playful sensuality. How do those qualities show up in the way you carry yourself or dress for special moments?

I always dress up very glam for dates or events. I would say that all of my outfits embody sensuality but also playfulness, because I’m a very silly girl at heart. I love to look like a doll and then be absolutely silly and have a fun night! I feel confidence when I’m in a corset or lingerie because I know I’m in my power as a woman.

If you could describe your ultimate Valentine’s Day mood or fantasy, what would it be?

Probably a getaway to the Madonna Inn with my favorite lover. Lots of gifts just for me, expensive shoes, the best champagne, Swedish chocolates, and a sexy night at the hotel ending with watching a cute show or old movie together on tv.

What do you hope someone feels when they see these visuals?

Inspired to be their sexiest and most desirable and playful selves.

Outside of this campaign, what inspires the romantic, dreamy, or playful elements in your content and your life?

I think I desire for life to be like a poem. My imagery in my apartment and otherwise is how I wish things to always be. I romanticize the city and my life within it. The images I create are little snapshots into my dream world, and I’m always making it a more beautiful place.

How would you describe your photography style, especially when capturing romance?

My photography style definitely centers around the female gaze-- dreamy, ethereal and full of energy. A mix of candid and poised moments that make you feel something. I shoot everything on film-- the grain and richness of the colors adds such a depth that makes you really fall into each image. Being a romantic at my core- it always shines through my photographs.

When you create your images, what kind of emotions or stories are you usually trying to capture?

Honestly whatever my subject brings to the table. I like to tell my subjects to move around a lot and I'll wait until the exact moment where I feel a spark behind the lens to capture. Each person has their own unique energy and I want to make them feel the most comfortable to showcase that in front of my lens. Always gotta have music turned on blast-- whether it's Lana Del Rey, Fleetwood Mac, or Tommy Richman-- and usually a glass of wine to really let loose and catch a vibe.

How did you bring the motel-inspired, dreamy aesthetic to life through your photography?

It's all in the lighting and energy you bring to the shoot! I brought my big spotlight and played around with different color gels to really elevate the dream-like space already present in the motel.

What elements do you usually focus on to make a photo feel intimate, dreamy, and alive?

I'm HUGE on composition. This space we shot in was so inspiring with all the mirrors and funky bathtubs-- but every single shot I challenged myself to think outside of the box with various angles. I had to get very clever with angles dodging my own reflection but choosing different elements to highlight for each shot. A mix of pulled back posed shots versus up close movements.

Was there a moment during the shoot — a pose, a light, a detail — that felt particularly magical or cinematic to you?

We got a bunch of rose petals to scatter over the bed! Naturally I had to stand on top of the bed whilst slowly dropping the petals over Rachel -- twas extremely American Beauty coded.

How do you balance your signature style with the vision of a campaign like this one?

Honestly the playful blush lingerie silhouettes blended in so seamlessly with my signature style. We prioritized play and just had fun with each look. The campaign focuses on whimsy with a modern feel which are both adjectives I describe my work with so it was a match made in heaven. <3

Any behind-the-scenes memories or little details from this shoot that you think perfectly capture the Valentine’s Day spirit?

Once we finally wrapped shooting all 9 looks at 2am -- we took a long bubble bath in the champagne tower filled with rose petals. The next morning, we woke up to the snow sweetly falling and a bunch of deer right outside our hotel room! It was so magical they all came to say hello. I felt like a Disney princess :)

Lovers Only

Lovers Only is not just a Valentine’s Day collection — it’s a state of mind that lives on past the day of love. A flirtation with fantasy. A reminder that romance doesn’t need permission, an audience, or even a plus-one. It can exist quietly, lavishly, just for you.

The motel becomes a stage: carpeted floors echoing with the laughter of the creative duo, heart-shaped tubs framing our muse, satin catching the light perfectly. There’s something deliciously ironic about it all — glamour tucked inside something fleeting, indulgence wrapped in impermanence. You check in, you fall in love (with yourself, with the night, with the idea), and you leave changed.

This is lingerie designed for lingering glances in the mirror and unplanned moments. For locking the door, drawing the curtains, and letting the world wait. Each piece plays between softness and boldness, nostalgia and the now — a knowing wink to Old Hollywood excess, reimagined for modern muses who understand that sensuality can be playful, clever, and entirely self-directed.

Lovers Only: A Valentine’s Collection

Lovers Only invites you to dress like the main character in your own romantic narrative. To romanticize the mundane. To make satin feel necessary, mesh feel essential, and Valentine’s Day feel less like a holiday — and more like an excuse.

Whether you’re celebrating with a lover, a secret, or simply yourself, this collection is your invitation. Check in. Stay up late. Slip into something unforgettable.
