Runaway: Untamed Love, A Bridal Story

Runaway: Untamed Love

There’s something about a woman on the run. Not in fear—just following instinct. That’s what Runaway: Untamed Love is about. Freedom. Love. Heat. That in-between space where you're not who you were, not yet who you're becoming, but fully alive in the now.

Faith Irving was the only one who could bring that to life. Not just because she’s a real-life bride-to-be, but because she is the story. A wild spirit with one foot rooted in nostalgia and relics, one hand on the wheel, and a suitcase full of mesh, lace, and all things pretty in the backseat.

Faith didn’t just model for this shoot—she became the narrative. From the locations to the energy behind the lens, everything was personal. There was no pretending here.

The sets were shot by Graham Oakley, who captured that soft drama through his lens—raw and real. Faith’s fiancé Tyler stepped in to help bring the vision to life without skipping a beat. He helped keep things moving, carried props, shot BTS, and got really into the creatives.

The most “Faith” moment? That convertible. Top down, wind in her hair, looking back with the thrill of being able to run.

Every stop meant something. The dive bar, her mom’s vintage Mustang. The roadside hitchhike. That plane shot, with the sets styled like they were ready for a billboard—her words, and we agree.

The campaign was shot in heat, in chaos, in real love. And that’s exactly what made it so good.

Faith made it unforgettable.

Faith’s Story: Love in Her Own Words

The timing of this shoot is so special—how did stepping into this bridal campaign feel alongside your own engagement journey?

The “runaway bride” idea felt fitting for me in the journey before this new chapter of life. The journey to get to the journey, Ha! I Feel like before now I was always on the run from some place, something or someone. Only ever looking back in a rear view mirror.

Metaphorically speaking, I've lived the life of a runaway bride. With that being said I couldn’t have been more thrilled to of been picked to be apart of creating this!

How did working with Graham bring this vision to life? Any fun behind-the-scenes moments?

I believe comfortability is so important when doing this kind of work. If the model is completely comfortable the photos are able to capture the real, genuineness that highlights the true beauty of everything. When you get two creative brains, in a safe space, working together, the outcome is relentless! constructively, I’d say that’s what makes us work so well together. There’s no struggle to execute the vision when it comes to Graham behind the camera. My fiancé, Tyler, actually ended up helping, remembering what to grab for each location & looking out for the little things. So thankfully he showed up for me in that moment. It was actually kind of cute to watch two men get so giddy over creative direction, in a bridal lingerie shoot. I’m not kidding! Him and Graham bouncing ideas and rolling around in swivel chairs with the camera or iPhone to get “the shot”. Meanwhile, blasting throwbacks we all sang every word to. Experiences will always shine light on one’s true self.

Which look felt the most like ‘you,’ and why did it resonate so much?

So I’m originally small town country, but I moved to LA for about 5 years on and off prior to moving in with my fiancé. Before now, I was always running from the country to feel the life of the city. The city made me feel like a Hannah Montana, but on the inside I’ll always be Miley Cyrus. I know that'll make sense to those who’ve seen the movie. So the driving the car, looking in the rear view mirror, wind blowing, suitcases packed, on the run. That was my most ME moment; wild & free, always in the wind. Running from nothing, for just the thrill of being able to run at all. No directions or even sure what I’m on the run from but no matter how far I get. I’m always running right back to where I belong. (If you haven’t seen the Hannah Montana movie you’re really missing out on the analogy).

The locations in this shoot are stunning—tell us a bit about why they're special to you and what made them the perfect setting for this campaign?

Oooo, this is a good one. The Cabbage Patch bar location Is a MUST GO for the annual Bike Week event here in Florida. When there’s not an event it’s a little dive bar in the middle of nothing. It’s family. Some even call it church on Sundays. Hell, when we were kids we’d beg my mom to ride the horses over and get a bag of chips or a hotdog. The owner, Roger. He’s a character, genuine by fault but all love & no bite. “The patch” is one of the only places here, left in its time. A piece of small town history. I felt this started the storyline as the runaway bride, looking for the next direction. A place where it all began.

The driving shots were a moment. They captured the “leaving it behind” feeling. Looking back in the rear view mirror in the most stylish way possible. A 65’ cherry red mustang convertible with all original pony interior. Who’d have it any other way? Any moment in that car with the wind blowing on your face is special. Thank you to my mom for letting us drive the dust off her for the day!

The car breaking down and hitch hicking I feel brought everything together. The story was messy & I feel like that was how I pictured this “runaway brides” life in that moment, Messy. It was also a perfect way to get detailed shots of the sets unposed. Candids !

The plane location. Graham KILLED IT. Those photos should be on a freaking billboard i tell ya! The sets we used and how we shot them were a story itself. Fearless, empowering, “beauty in the nosedive”. This location and the plane wouldn’t have happened without my badass mom who went from cowgirlin’ in an arena to cowgirlin’ in the sky! She grew up a rodeo queen, always living with less but turned less, into a lot. Now, she owns her own aviation business and has achieved her private pilots license! That woman amazes me everyday.

If you could describe the runaway bride photoshoot in three words, what would they be?

1) HOT, because man were we sweating our butts off in that Florida heat.

2) rememberable, every location was a story for us to share too.

3) Personal, because it felt like me in a different time of a different life.

Which accessory did you bring in that was special to you? Will we be seeing it used for your wedding day?

I brought in a few bridal pieces like the lace gloves and bows. I will definitely be using all for upcoming photo adventures as it gets closer to the before and after festivities. My ring, we used for a few shots. I took it off to set on the trunk next to the suitcase and about had a heart attack! I had found that vintage suitcase thrifting. Impeccable timing! A perfect prop for the theme. I will be using that for stylishly packing all my blush pieces in our honeymoon pursuit ! Something super cute about my ring. When we were kids in elementary school. The teacher gave us an assignment to write 3 things we wanted when we grew up and why. Me, with no business having expensive taste. I put down a Tacori ring, a Tiffany necklace, and a Porsche Panamera followed by my reasoning. I quote, “My mom and aunt Jamie told me if a man didn’t give me these things I couldn’t marry him”. It being a regular joke they had made with me not thinking I’d actually run with it in a school assignment. Well, I did and my teacher sure got a laugh from the little 9 year old with unrealistic expectations for her age.Yet; Tyler, my fiancé whom I met in kindergarten, never forgot that day in class or the story behind it. He remembered 10 years later those expectations I held then were his goals to reach now for that same little girl he asked out through a folded up note passed in class.
